
Organizing an event can be a daunting task as there
are numerous considerations beyond “when to hold
it, where to hold it, and who should be performing”.
There are many technical requirements and these requirements
differ by the type of venue. In some cases there are
complicated restrictions with venues, while in other
cases there are acoustic, video or lighting complexities.
Artech Communications’s event management team has considerable
experience in the planning, managing and executing events
at venues of all sizes, whether indoors or outdoors.
We have facilitated many conferences, tradeshows and
concerts in locations including convention centres,
churches, theatres, arenas and stadiums throughout Ontario
and beyond. Collectively our team has over 50 years
of event experience.
We
start with your vision and we focus on how we can best
enable you ideas. We break the
event
down into components, such as staging, video production,
light design, audio design, crew requirements, budget
targets etc. and then we develop a plan for each component.
How
does this work on a practical basis? Well, we have an
excellent team of professionals on staff - for example,
we have an in-house stage designer, trained through
completing a Bachelor of Theatre Arts as Ryerson University,
and he plans out the best balance of stage light and
design to accommodate your needs.
We have people who manage promotions (when applicable),
as well as technical components. In many cases, we work
closely with you from the earliest planning stages,
for your event. providing advice, practical solutions,
and requirements. When the event day arrives we execute
the plan, using our in-house resources of audio, video,
lighting, staging equipment and crew to make your event
a reality. In other cases we simply come along side
your team to fulfill our role of audio engineers or
video technicians or whatever you see as our role. Our
goal is to ensure that the event runs smoothly and professionally.

& Lighting Production: We have a wide array
of audio and lighting equipment to support productions
of any size. We also have a solid team of professional
technicians specialized in audio, video, lighting and
stage design.
Audio Recording & Duplication:
Professional recording and duplication services are
available as required.
Booking:
Artech Communications has a solid network of contacts for the
booking of event presenters / music. This service includes
obtaining all technical riders and synthesizing the
information.
Broadcast
& Services: Artech Communications provides services
in video capture, broadcast, andthe creation of corporate
videos.
Event
Management: We provide project management services
to manage the logistic elements, technical labour and
equipment requirements. these services includes: tracking
the progress of each event, project readiness reporting
(outlining of constraints and questions) and management
of meetings or critical team members. Furthermore, these
services encompass equipment recommendations and procurement.
Multi-Media
& Marketing Services: Artech Communications has
a qualified team of marketers and IT support (such as
web design, hosting, etc) available primarily in house
(but also through third party resources).
Set
Design: This service is available based on
client need and include WSYWIG lighting model designs,
which predict event lighting; EASE modeling of the acoustic
attributes of venues to determine acoustic outputs and
the general stage layout and design from and audio-video-lighting
perspective.
Stage
Management: This is an on-site service which
includes the management of traffic flow of traffic on
and off stage, as well as the change over of instruments
and equipment.
Ticketing:
This service includes the creation and management of
the ticketing process including accounting, collection,
remittance and the creation of physical tickets or confirmations
for participants.
Video
Production and Recording: Artech Communications services
include video production, script, capture, (now) editing
suite (coming on-line this spring), and duplication.
Venue
Sourcing: This service includes working with
clients to find the right venue for their event, conducting
detailed site reviews, negotiating, determining technical
assessments, review site issues such as union management.
Staging
and Equipment Rental: Artech Communications has a large
fleet of professional grade audio-video and lighting
equipment, stage, drape, truss and all the supporting
attributes to execute an event or to support year round
activities such as meetings and fund-raising events.
